William has successfully managed and grown the Mills Fitchet (Tvl) office, a real estate valuation company of which he is the sole director, for the past 17 years.
He has 32 years experience in the industry and has utilised this to enhance the profession as a whole by his integrity, professional work ethic and dedication to the profession. He has achieved the following:
- Member of the SA Institute for Valuers and elevated to Fellow in July 2004.
- Registered as a Valuer in terms of the provisions of Section 19 of the Property Valuers Profession Act, 2000 (Without Restrictions)
- Completed the Property Development Programme, Natal University (1990)
- Served as Transvaal member and Chairman of the Institute for Valuers (1993 – 1997)
- Served as a member of the National Executive, of the Institute for Valuers for a one-year period.
- Obtained National Diploma Property Valuation in 1985
- Has assisted with the marking of the practical examination for students completing their National Diploma
Since January 1990 William has personally valued 4 495 properties where the total Market Value has been determined as R31 526 590 000.
He has passed the Examination for the Certificate of the institute of Estate Agents of S.A., in the following subjects; Real Estate Law, Procedure and Documentation, Selling and Communication, General Property Practice (Certificate No. 2565 dated 14 October 1983)
William is also an Appraiser for the Randburg District.
