Formed as a merger of Mills Fitchet Cape and Magnus Penny Associates in 1996 the branch has continued to build on their past solid reputations.

The branch specialises in providing multi-faceted valuations and associated services, with significant expertise available for all manner of valuations.

In addition they offer services to large national and international chartered accounting firms.

The team’s experience has underlined their objectivity and integrity with regards numerous other real estate companies listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, such as Acucap, Apexhi, Elmira, Freestone, Oasis Crescent Fund, Paramount, Resilient and Spearhead.

Significant private investment funds are also clients.

Today, Mills Fitchet Magnus Penny is on the panels of leading property financiers and asset based funders.

Mike Gibbons is a registered professional property valuer, has a National Diploma in Property Valuations and is a Member of the Institute of Valuers.

Bobbie Gibbons who is registered with the Zimbabwean Institute of Estate Agents and Valuers as well as a Fellow of the South African Institute of Valuers.

Both partners spend considerable time lecturing in their respective fields, as well as mentoring numerous Valuers in Training.

They are ably assisted by Kyle Keefer, a Candidate Valuer (due to qualify in 2007) and Shereen Khan (studying for the National Diploma). Andrew Swail offers technical support and administers the source documents from the various regulatory national bodies.
